When attempting to import bookmark.htm (exported from Windows XP SP2 IE 7.0)
I receive this message: "Error Converting Bookmarks". I have administrative
rights on the computer.

Also, I don't know if this is related but when attempting to add a new
Favorite, e.g. www.yahoo.com, this meesage appears: "Unable to create
'Yahoo!': Unspecified error".

Any ideas will be appreciated.

I had the same problem; to correct this I first copied the bookmarks to the
DOCs folder in Vista and them Imported in IE7. This fixed both issues

First copy and paste your bookmarks into the DOCs folder in Vista, then
import into IE7; this solved both poblems for me

I appreciate the tip but that's where the bookmark.htm file is located, i.e.
Users\username\Documents

It is a security issue, just click on favorites in ie7 then right
click, go to properties and then click on the security tab. Adjust it
for each user.
