Hi,

I just bough new HP Tablet PC TC4400 (Intel dual core, 2 gb ram)
I always get warning or error message in "Diagnostic Performance - Operation"
It says

Some drivers or services caused a delay during standby / shutdown/ boot

Is it normal ? I turn off "Aero" but it doesnot help.
Any suggestion ?

These are some samples

Which version of Vista was pre-installed.
Checking out the specs for the unit reveal everything is integrated, most
probably only really suitable for Vista Basic,
I maybe wrong but just an opinion.

Preinstall Vista Business.

My tablet PC spec:
* Core 2 Duo Processor T5600
* Mobile Intel 945Gm Express Chipset + Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
(up to 224 MB)
* 2 Gb RAM

I did restore vista business from HP Restore CDs.
I did windows update.
I turn off aero

My Windows Experience Index base score is 3.1
(processor 4.8, RAM 4.5, Graphics 3.2, Gaming graphics 3.1, Primary hard
disk 4.3).

This because of my specs of tablet pc is not good enough or Vista bugs ?

The minimum performance rating to get the effect of Areo is 3.0 for graphic
and as you can see from your figures you are just there, once you start using
other programs that require graphics as well, you will most probably lose
Areo, it should return once you stop using those other programs.
A graphic card setup more suited to Vista, with it's own built in RAM would
be better.
You have sufficient RAM.
No indication that it is bug related.
You most probably have other programs using graphics during boot/shutdown,
etc.
Have you any idea what programs start at bootup.
I apologize if I am not being to clear because I am not sure of you computer
knowledge.
