Vista and MSN Premium with Verizon ISP

I am having difficulty getting MSN premium to reinstall on my Vista computer.
It was installed until a month ago, then it prompted me to update and now
will not install or uninstall. I get an installation wizard window that is
empty. Verizon says they believe my OS is missing something. I'm on automatic
updates and have checked for any updates I've missed with no luck. Any
thoughts?

Thanks Andre. I'm not sure what you mean by MSN explorer. I'm just trying to
download the MSN Premium email software that is included with my Verizon DSL.
I don't get an error message or incompatiblilty message, I simply get the
installation wizard window that is blank. If I go to task manager and end the
program is says it can't end it b/c the program is waiting for a response
from me. It's like there is a "next" button to click but I can't see it so I
can't click it!

The software (that butterfly icon) that you launch is known as either MSN
Explorer or MSN Premium, you might want to relay your issue in the following
