I recently got a virus on my computer called the hompage hijaker. It is
changing my internet options and i can't set them back to my default
settings. It also allows pop ups for adware/spyware to come on my screen.
Mcafee does not remove it. What can I do?

Try to scan for Malware also on your Computer from these links:
http://www.avast.com/ for the Free Removal tool for Worms and
Malware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ for Lavasoft SE personal Use

if it Create a Process Runing on your Computer and you knoww the Name do the
following:
Press CTRL+DEL+ALT on your Keyboard and End the Process
If it a file Delete it manualy or by this tool:
http://www.ccleaner.com
Open your HOSTS File from this Path:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look in the Right Pane ( Window) and you
will see HOSTS file but not the one with Extension .SAM please leave this
alone do not modify!.
Delete any Reference for the Hijacking website or any suspecious Sites
there, and Save the file as is and close.
