Virus????

I recently installed MS Spyware software. The software
identified adware and some malicious software IE MBlast,
etc. These were removed successfully using the MS
Spyware. I suspect there still may be affects from the
previous virus's or I may still have a virus. When I
attempt to do file SEARCH it does not work, when I
attempt to logoff I receive an END PRGROAM display for
GCASERV.EXE is ending. Then all the icon and bottom task
bar disappear and the screen freezes.

I'd recommend going into Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, click
on the Programs tab, and click on Reset Web Settings. Click on apply. You'll
need to then reset your home page to your desired setting. This is on the
General tab, at the top. You navigate to the desired home page, and then
click use current there.

Microsoft Antispyware may look askance at one or more of these changes. You
should adjust the Tools, Advanced Tools, browser hijack restore settings to
match you choices.
