Virus? Spyware? Adware SE bluescreens

When I run adware se, it gets about 10 seconds into it and goes to a
blue screen with the following message:

STOP: c000021a Fatal System Error The windows logon process system
process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000005 (0x00000000
0x00000000). The system has been shut down.

Any idea what that is?

something is stopping the winlogon.exe process... windows requires that
process to be running... what's stopping it is anybody's guess... you
might try some other diagnostic program - an anti-virus perhaps, or
spybot s&d...

Follow these steps.

Start up Ad-Aware.

Update to the latest definition file.

In the Ad-Aware setttings, choose "Tweak"

Open up the "Scanning Engine" tree

Unselect the "Unload recognized processes & modules during scan" option (if
unseleted it should be red with a cross)

Now perform a Full System Scan

When the scan is finished, you will have a list of objects detected. One of the
process objects is the one causing the problem. You must choose "Take No action",
otherwise Ad-Aware will kill the process

You may now send the Ad-Aware scan log to us. This can be found in "c:\Documents
and Settings\*Username*\Application Data\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\Logs\" It will be the
last file created.

Please send to (e-mail address removed) with the subject "Ad-Aware Reboots During
Scan"
