Virtual PC

Basically, what is it?

Can it be a stand alone on a formatted HDD?

What's required for XP Pro sp2. ?

Just basic info needed.

I want to thank everyone for all the excellent information.
You went to some trouble to post all the information and I
appreciate it very much.

Hardly any of this was explained in any of the many hits from Google
that I read and the one short thread I found did not apply.
