Wolfgang

As a Unix sysadmin I am used to look the log of users who have logged
in during a certain time period (the 'last' command).

How do you do this kind of thing for a Windows XP system?

Thanks,
Wolfgang

Yes, all this and more in the Event Viewer.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Hi Wolfgang
I think applying the Audit account login events in LOCAL SECURITY would solve your problem
If you need details
1. Administrative Tool
2. Local Security- Audit Policy & choose as you required
