Viewing the 'chain of emails' on an archived email in the inbox

All my emails in the Outlook Inbox have the 'Vault' icon (archived email) and
the View pane shows only the email itself and not the 'chain of emails' that
preceded it. I have to double click on the email to open and see all the
details, which takes a lot of time. I have 500 emails and need a quick way to
delete the earlier emails. How do I reset the view so I can see all the
earlier emails again?

The amount of details that are shown depend on the archiving solution that
your company uses on the server.
If this was a regular message from Outlook, you'd right click on the message
and choose Find All-> Related Messages...

Sorting by the Subject field of grouping by Conversation might do the trick
as well for you.
If you saved these across folders, you can do it with a Search Folder.
