viewing pictures

Every time I try to view a picture file a Dell-sponsored
program opens. Is there a way to change the default
image viewer in XP to MS Photo Editor? Many thanks.

Right click on the photo and click on Open with on the opening menu. Click
on Choose program. Click on what you want (MS Photo Editor) and check the
box "Always...."

However, this may not be the most convenient of viewing and editing photos.
Instead of selecting MS Photo Editor, select Windows pictures and Fax
Viewer.
Then, when you want to edit a photo, right click on it, Open with and select
MS Photo Editor.
