Viewing pictures in different folders at the same time.

I'd like to know if there's a way to view pictures from different folders at
the same time.

Example:

Let's say I want to view all the pictures in the folder "My
Pictues\Nicholas". So what I do is use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to view
all the pictures in that folder.

But let's say I want to view all the pictures in the folder "My
Pictures\Catherine". I use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to view all those
pictures and all the photos from "My Pictures\Nicholas" will be gone and I'll
only be able to view those in "My Pictures\Catherine".

Is there anyway I can view photos from these two folders in Picture and Fax
viewer all in the same instance? If not, is there any picture viewer that
will allow me to do so?

Thanks

You cannot view the contents of two or
more folders in one instance of Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer.

However...you can have more than one
instance of Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer...

Open one image with Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer.

Left click the print button.

With the Print Wizard on screen...go
back to your image folder and open
another image.

Close the Print Wizard...and you will
have two instances of Windows Picture
And Fax Viewer open.

You can also run 2 (or more) occurences of Windows Explorer, tile the windows
and set view to thumbnails or slide show

It is nice, but you have to be careful with it.
No problem using it to display all your photo files on your hard drive. No
folder to open. They are all there. This is the nice part.
Also very good for simple editing and printing.
What you have to be careful about is the naming of the folders. You can
right click on a folder name and "Change the folder description" and enter a
new name. This change will take place in Picasa, but NOT in Windows
Explorer. In the later the new name will be truncated to the first 7 or 9
characters, so don't change the name of your folders in Picasa.
The other nice part is exchanging folders of pictures with your friends
using Hello. Very fast. No more e-mail!
