Currently I have a folder full of pictures. For some reason, these cannot
be viewed as thumbnails in the folder. I have gone up to View and selected
Thumbnails, but all it does is surround the image icon with a black box, it
does not give me a thumbnail preview of the images. I know on the previous
Windows 2000 machine it was able to do this. How can I fix this?

It looked good, but I was told that the problem is for all image files not
just .jpgs

You need to do it for .jpg, gif, .bmp and any other image format that you
have. You will see all of the image formated in the registry as you exit
them. Just do the same editing for all.
