Viewing files on this computer

I am using XP home edition.

When I view "My Computer" it used to show My Documents, shared documents and
the other user documents. It is now not showing my documents on ly the shared
docs and the other user docs. Can anyone tell me how to get this viw back
please?

Look at this location in the Registry and see if the value is correct:

[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DocFolderPaths]

Name: YourUsername
Type: REG_SZ
Value: Path to your My Documents. Typically 'c:\documents and settings\your
username\my documents"

My REG-SZ was nto in the registry at all. This has fixed my problem. While
this was not affecting the performance of my PC it was annoying. I wish I
knew why this happend.
