View Source Doesn't Work.

For the last 3-4 months I have not been able to view the
source of a web page in IE6.

I have downloaded and installed all of the recommended
patches and service packs, but still am unable to view the
source of any web page by either right clicking on the web
page and selecting "View Source", or clicking "View" on
the menu bar and selecting "Source".

Either of these actions, in the past has opened the source
of the page in notepad, but now, nothing happens.

Does anyone have a clue as to how I may fix this problem?
I am runing Windows 2000 Server.

Thanks for the suggestion Charlie, but I don't have a
shortcut to Notepad on my desktop.
