Unable to view source

I using IE6 with Windows 2000, i can't view the source code of any web page.
When i do "view source" i get an error -"The system cannot find the path
specified" with a blank notepad. My HTML editor is set as Notepad and it is
present in the correct location. I tried deleting the TIF, made sure the
"File Types" in Folder Options point to Notepad.exe..nothing works. Any help
on the issue is appreciated.

Thanks

Don,
I tried creating the key in the registry as suggested in the article, even
the default HTML editor is set to Notepad in the registry. Still i get the
same error-"The system cannot find the path specified". Also the loaction of
TIF is the standard one. Thanks for replying.

Hi,
If you have a shortcut to notepad.exe on the desktop, delete or rename it.

Check for notepad.exe in this registry key

Is the TIF folder in the standard location?
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files"
