Hi,

You can't even see from Control Panel (classic) - Network Connections? thats
rather strange! And you do have a dial-up connection or LAN card in the
system?

You can also find Network Connections in Start - All Programs - Accessories
- Communications, here you can also find the New Connection Wizard - may be
worth running through this to see if creating a connection (say a dummy VPN)
gives you your data back.

Let us know how you get on!

Thanks,

Jason
