Videos Not Playing in Browser

Doug

I have XP and IE6. I am having trouble playing some
videos on some websites. At times even the sound clips.
I have made sure I have the latest Quicktime, Macromedia,
and Media Player is completely up to date with no
components missing. Sometimes neither sound or video will
play. I also am not able to listen to ringtones on
Cingular sites before I download them.
Ideas???

I have this problem too. I have noticed you posting this
earlier this week and hoped someone may answer, but no
one seems to want to respond to this one. Maybe no one
else knows either.

You might want to take a look at reply in MSN discussion
on 8/4 "MSN Video link will not open" from Mary - see
reply and see if this helps. We had the same problem in
both IE and MSN and this resolved the issue. If you don't
have NIS it might still be your fire wall stopping the
access.

Thanks, I will look at it.

I am not using NIS, but McAfee. I am also checking my ad
block programs. May not have to use them anymore after
installing SP2 with its own blocker.
