When I am streaming video in IE 6.0 It will start off
strong and then slow down greatly in a few seconds. The
audio will keep on playing but the video takes a
nosedive. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Try updating your video drivers. They can usually be found on the website
of the mfg. of your video card.

Download and install Belarc. Then open it and look under Display. It will
tell you what Video display type you have. It will also tell you a great
deal about all of your computer. It is a very good tool to have on hand
when trouble shooting.

.my video drivers are up to date. My computer is brand
new so maybe I don't have something installed that makes
video run smoother. It ran fine on my old computer. any
other ideas?>

You did not say what OS you have, but, I will take a guess that it is a
version of Windows, and ask if all the necessary updates and patches for the
OS and IE6 have been installed. Perhaps a repair of the IE might help. If
you don't know how to do that then post back and we'll help with the
detailed instructions. That right now are the only things I can think of.
If all the necessary updates and service packs are up to date, and the
Repair is done and the problem is still there, then perhaps someone else has
some suggestions to help find a solution to the problem. :-)
