I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions as to why computer
would keep shutting off.
We had windows Me on it and up graded it to windows XP, with a clean
reformat and install.
It does not have any conflicts in the Device Manager, but it will keep
shutting down, for no reason.
When you send the error message to Microsoft it says that "Error caused by
video Device Driver....Error type Windows Stop error....Video Adapter device
driver stop...ox000000EA Thread _Stuck_In_device_driver
We used Creative SB Live!Value (WDM)
Creative Game Port for Creative SB Live
Microsoft Wave Device for Voice Modem
HID-compliant game controller................in the windows Me , now what
would the right drivers be for Windows XP? or how would we find out which
ones would be right?
We tried to go into Device Manager and remove all that were in their for
video but does not let us remove them or have the options to uninstall
them.Unless we are missing something.
And info or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Carol

Go to the website of the mfg for your video card
and see if they have XP specific drivers...
if so upgrade the present drviers and see what happens
