video problem

guys,

i just installed win xp pro.

if i boot normal i get blue screen of death every time. error message
refers to g200d.dll

I have worked out that the problem is with my graphics driver. i went to
matrox.com and downloaded the lastest driver for my card (matrox millenium
g200) but still get same problem

what is next step besides buying new video card?

i could just always boot in vga mode but i would prefer to fix it.

Are you sure you removed the old one completely? I know with my ATI cards
there is a utility to remove driver before installing new one.
