I just did a fresh install of Win 2000 Pro.
Then I tried to install the correct video driver.
Now when I restart Windows I get a message that the video driver
failed to initialize, and Windows then reboots, but keeps ending up at
the same message.
Things I tried to fix the problem are:
1. Tried to start in VGA mode - same problem occurs
2. Tried last known good startup - same problem occurs
3. Tried running Windows repair - same problem occurs
It looks like I may have to get to a DOS prompt instead and manually
mess around with the files, or rerun the whole install, which I don't
want to do.
Any suggestions?
