video and adapter drivers

Hi there I seem to have lost the ability to install my monitor drivers and
those for my ATI graphics card. this has all happened since installing SP2

ATI cards are troublesome to use; there is a compatibility problem with them
working with WinXP, I would suggest to get another brand of video card,
example Nvidia.

Actually, we've had much more trouble with nVidia cards than ATI. It seems
to have leveled off but for quite awhile, driver issues with nVidia cards,
in these newsgroups anyway far outnumbered those of ATI.
