I'm trying to load the driver for my philips pcvc680k web
cam, using the typical steps for loading drivers through
the device manager leads me to a missing file prompt,
telling me that this file is missing "vfwwdm.drv". I can
not find this file anywhere on my computer. I had windows
98 and now I'm using windows 2000 professional. Do I need
to use my old 98 cd for this file, or is there a way
around that process? Thanks in advance.

The driver "vfwwdm.drv" is from Windows 98 and does not work with Windows
2000.

Philips has updated drivers on their website for this camera.

You will still need your Philips CD for the camera according to the TXT file
on the site.
