So, the questionable file is one which belongs to you. Surely you can find
a file of that size somewhere in \documents and settings\debbie....
When you know what the file name is, post back again. Without that name,
help is well nigh impossible.

This problem is puzzling.

Go to Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, View, Advanced Settings
and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is
checked and "Hide protected operating system files " is unchecked. You
may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make
certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is
not checked. Next in Windows Explorer make sure View, Details is
selected and then select View, Choose Details and check before Name,
Type, Total Size, and Free Space.

Next use the Search option in Windows Explorer to search My Computer
for files using the search criteria "Debbie"" without the quotes and
note the file paths to any files found. Make sure when you search My
Computer you have selected Advanced Options and clicked on the box
before Search System Folders, Search Hidden Files and Folders and
Search Sub-Folders.

What are your anti-virus and anti-spware arrangements?

Are you using Norton Ghost or Rollback?

The file name you quote is at a location where I might expected a
folder (not file) named Debbie containing things like My Documents, My
Music, My Pictures etc. What is the name of the folder containg these
sub-folders?

Hope this helps.
