Hi to all,
I recently completed a self build PC.
System Specs ->
Soltek Qbic EQ3801A Aluminium unit, nForce3 250Gb (AMD 64/IDE133/SATA)
200Gb Maxtor Plus 9 ATA-133 (7200rpm, 8MB Cache) Quiet Drive Technology
CPU Chip
AMD Athlon 64 2800 (Socket 754)
PC3200 RAM 512mb
Graphics-Card Siluro Abit Gforce FX GPU 128mb DDR
LG DVD-ROM Drive
LG GSA 4081BB 8x DVD±R/±RW Drive
Sony Floppy Drive
I installed the build and took all the required precautions and following the instruction manual the system started successfully.
I inserted the full version of Windows XP Professional and the application started up perfectly. I was guided up to the point where it asks to install on the selected partition.
It said Enter to use the highlighted partition and install, C to Create a partition, or F3 to quit and reboot the system.
I decided to seek further advice before going ahead and I pressed F3 to quit and reboot the system as offered on screen.
The following message then appeared at the base of the screen after the system restarted.
Verifying DMI Pool Data.......
Error loading operating system_
I tried re-staring again and re-inserting the CD disc but the same message appeared at the bottom of the screen.
I would ever so appreciate any advice.
Best Wishes
