Hi,
Is there a quick way to print out system informaion such as operating system
being used, service packs installed, versions of programs installed (such as
which MS Office version)? I need to make a list of this type of info for all
of the computers in our company and was hoping there would be an easier way
than doing it all by hand. thanks!

Have a look at the Microsoft System Inventory Analyzer:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/sam/msia.mspx
which will create a list of installed Microsoft software.

You can buy third party software that will produce a complete inventory
of all software (and hardware), however I do not have personal
experience with such a producr.

The Belarc Advisor builds a detailed profile of your installed software and
hardware, including Microsoft Hotfixes, and displays the results in your Web
browser.
