Is it the case that one HAS to leave that damned Windows Genuine Advantage
Validation registry key in place ? i.e. it seems RIDICULOUS that MS has to
check the validity of my copy of XP Home ed. EVERY time I use my computer
!!! ???

....i deleted the key along with several others that I wanted to get rid of,
then on my next reboot I got a "car wheel trim" type icon in my system tray,
with a message saying that my copy of Windows may be a pirate copy, (which
it isn't), and so I've just reinstalled/Window Updated the genuine advantage
CRAP, to hopefully get rid of the "car wheel trim" !

How else can MickeyMouse continue to insert its supremacy with its users?
This is just an annoying reminder that MickeyMouse is king and users of
this toy operating system are duty bound to continue groveling to its
wishes. As long as you grovel you keep MickeyMouse in its commanding role
and you remain subservient to its whims.

When you finally do become sick and tired of this groveling and want to
break away and be free to control your own computer, take a look at
replacing this toy operating system with a much superior one that gives you
choice and control - GNU/Linux.

Also, one that has no security issues - I suppose!
