V90 vs V92

I cannot use broadband due to technical problems. I have
just installed a new V92 modem (Creative V92 PCI) to my
WINXP new build system. This will not connect due to my
ISP not supporting V92 - they only support V90.
Is there any way to force WINXP and the Modem to use
V90 ? There is a box in control panel modems options
properties for entry of an 'Extra Initialisation Command' -
is this where the V90 / V92 switch should be done ? If
so - what is the command ?

Hi -

According to Creative Labs your modem will automagically
fall back to v.90 if your ISP doesn't support v.92
