using xp on more than one computer

i have two desktops at home and want to know if i can
install one xp home edition on both or if i have to buy 2
copies

Hello

If you have 2 seperate copies of XP home yes you can, ok and if
you need to install a 2nd copy on the other pc you will have to
purcahse another copy of XP Hm

Todd...you can use the same DISC...but you'll require another license. It's
not only the law, but it will land you in some hassle [otherwise] because XP
takes a snapshot of your system HW when you install it...and if you submit a
different HW profile at a later date (as would occur with a different
system) it will wake the sleeping giant, and he will come and stomp you.
