I have an old Sidewinder Gamepad (approx 4 years old),
which I want to use with my new laptop. The gamepad has
a 15-pin gameport connector, but my laptop only has USB
ports.

Can I use one of these USB to gameport adapters with it:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000A03JP/qid%
3D1061577311/202-8760346-6051050

Apparently they don't work with some gamepads/joysticks
that are digital - how can I find out if my gamepad is
digital or not?

It works for FreestyleProV2.0with15pinsGPPlug and
PrecisionProwith15pinGPPlug, it did not work with ealry game pad.
Microsoft Digital Gamepad is FreestylePro only, others are all analog.
