USB gameport adapter

Barsali

Hi, I have bought recently an USB gameport adapter that arrived without any
software included.
I have 2 miscrosoft sidewinder gamepad non-usb (the old version) and I'd
like to use them on a motherboard without gameport.
The fact is that windows XP doesn't find any driver for the adapter and the
automatic setup for the pad doesn't work.
Someone has suggest for this problem?
Thanks

It won't work because the USB port requires that the correct identification
data is built into any USB device so it can tell what is connecting to it.
Without the identification being available the USB port can do nothing.

Either purchase a separate soundcard with a gameport controller on it, or
purchase a new USB gameing device.
