i have a template for an interoffice memo i would like to use. it is a doc,
and i have also saved it as a dot, but when i go to open forms, and look for
my template, it only looks for the extension oft.
i have outlook set to compose in html using Word.

The easiest solution is probably to copy/paste the contents into a new mail
window and save that as an OFT file.

Or, open the Word doc and use the File | Send To | Email Recipient command.

thank you both. i'll try both suggestions tonight when i go back to work.
sue, i'm quite sure i tried your suggestion before posting here, and the
message went out as text, with my company logo as a message attachment (gif).
i'm hoping to set it up as an easily accessed template.
