Save Word doc as Outlook Template

I have my Outlook 2003 set to use Word 2003 as my email editor. I built an
html message and have it saved as a draft in my Draft folder. But when I use
the Draft file by sending it, there is no longer a draft left in my Draft
folder.

Is there a way I can save the Word doc as an Outlook Template? When I try to
Save As it just gives my the Word Template format of .dot and not the Outlook
Template format?

Or is there a way to retain the original Draft in the Draft folder when
sending using a Draft message?

Thanks for your help.

Select the draft and click Forward. Don't open the draft itself.
