using outlook with multiple xp user accounts?

i use outlook 2003 to handle my pop3 mail account,which allows unlimited
e-mail addresses as long as everything after the @username.freeserve.co.uk
remains the same.
i use about three e-mail addresses and my partner uses three as well, but ,i
would like to know if its possible to make my three go into outlook on my xp
user account, and my partners three go into outlook on my partners xp user
account.
as at present whoever does a send/receive first gets all mail from,
@username.freeserve.co.uk, regardless of what is in front of the @.

we would really appreciate any help antone could give.

if it is possible to do.

That's because they are NOT "real" email addressses, they are aliases.

This procedure works with Freeserve but if you want three addresses to go to
each, then you will have to set up three different accounts in each instance
of Outlook.

Suppose your three addresses are (e-mail address removed) and
(e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed)
In the first account in Outlook, in the Username under login information,
type "me1+username.freeserve.co.uk" (without the quotes). This will only
download email addressed to (e-mail address removed). Repeat this for
each of the two other accounts in your Outlook. Then do the same for the
accounts in your partner's Outlook.
The only downside of this is that any email addressed to "anything other
than me1, me2 or me3 @username.freeserve.co.uk" will not be downloaded. As
that will be mostly spam anyway, use something like Mailwasher to clean uou
the account once a month or so.

I have a similar problem. I have an alias on my account. I have no problem
receiving mail, since I'm the only person using the account. However, I'd
like to be able to send mail using both the original address and the alias
address. The alias does not have a password.

How can I set this up so that the recipient will only see the alias address?

Add a second account to Outlook that specifies the second address and use
the Accounts button to select that account when you compose the message.

Does it matter that I then have two POP accounts with different user info but
the same logon info? Will it create problems when send/receive kicks off
since it's attempting to hit the same account twice?

You'll probably want to disable receiving on one of the accounts - see
