Using 4GB RAM with 2k Server

I am experincing a system hang when I install 4GB of RAM
in the system. The system specs are:
MB - Supermicro X5DPA-GG dual Xeon
RAM - Crucial 1GB DDR 266 x4

Have you tried the 1.0c BIOS -- it is quite new.

Otherwise, you just have to roll up your sleeves and
start trying subsets of the modules to see if you have
a funky one. If you can use any 3, but not all 4, then
you just have incompatible modules and you'll have
to exchange them for some other registered x72 DIMMs.
It heppens.
