Many times, mail folders in outlook are loosely protected. Some mails can
contain very sensitive information such as license keys or passwords. An user
should be able to protect the individual mail or a mail folder with his/her
personal password as an extra security layer.

Thanks

G'Day Compucrat,

Have you thought of encrypting sensitive messages?

Thanks.
Firstly, I should have been more clear. I am talking about mails stored on
your PC, as pst files.
I am not sure how encryption works on stored mails (in pst). Once, some one
is able to open a local mail folder, he/she can access all the mails.

Thanks once again for the link. Looks like a great feature. Though I am using
Outlook 2003 (all latest updates), I am not able to test it as, I am not
seeing that 'special' icon. Nevermind. Thanks.
Rgds
