user registration

In my website, I password-protected part of my web. Now I
was just wondering if anyone knows how I could enable a
user to register right on my website to be able to access
the data. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Self registration thru a web browser can be done w/FrontPage on UNIX but not
on Win/IIS:
http://webworksite.com/registration.shtml
the registration form has to be in the root web. To password protect your
subweb:
http://webworksite.com/password.shtml
