I have a couple of laptops that cannot access shares on a win2k server with user rights, but those same users can access the shares on desktop computers
Do the owners of the laptops log in with domain accounts or local accounts.
If they log in with local accounts while on their laptops and domain
accounts while on the desktops, that's your answer (regardless of whether
the username and password is the same, they're different accounts).
What's the error message when they cannot connect? "Access is denied"?
