User Names Not Available

I shutdown a laptop with XP Pro on Friday and on Monday when I rebooted the
system, the user names are no longer available for sign in on the computer.

What could have caused this and how can it be fixed?

Try pressing ctrl-alt-delete twice at that screen. If you get a logon
dialog, you can type "Administrator" and a blank password, to try repairing
the profiles or logon.

I did the same thing this user did & I did press ctr-alt-del twice & entered
the passcode but it came back saying the administrator account was disabled.
I think i need to format & reload windows.. what do you think??

Well, you need to install again, but you could install 'to a new folder' (or
drive), so that you can 'take ownership' of your old data.
