User keeps getting "Not Read:" Notifications

I have a user on the network with Outlook 2003, and she keeps getting emails
with the subject "Not Read: Email subject here."

She's getting thousands of them.

I don't know what she hit, or what’s going on.. Any ideas?

Sounds like they have a Read Recipient turned on.

I turned off *all* receipt features. Outlook eventually stopped what it was
doing, and apparently it's not the first time it's happened with that user.

It's some key the user is pressing on their keyboard that is initiating this
behavior.
