Read Request - Not read:

Hi,

I use "read request" frequently too.

Recently I posted a few mails at different time to send to all my
receipients. There is 1 receipient return to me with a message subject as
"Not read:'my original email subject'". Not only for 1 message but for
several important messages.

the receipient claimed she never received those messages but received other
less "important" messages.

I thought from outlook we can only receive a notification when the
receipient has read the email, or she chose not to not to reply. But "Not
read:"?

This should not be a system reply message. Right?

Or is it this receipient tried to trick us? (really hope she is not so
cunning)

We don't use exchange. just normal smtp.

below is reply from the receipient

Can anybody let us know how can this happened?

We are using outlook 2003.

Thank you and best regards,
