Phanton Name References

S

In Outlook 2003, I have a user that every time she create an email she get
phantom references to names of other people that she is not sending the email
to. While I understand that she can eliminate the list by minimizing the
email and then maximizing it again - she sents out hundreds, if not thousands
of emails per day and it is very irritating. It is not a refresh issue
either. Has anyone else had this problem? I have 2 people in my office that
I know of for certain.

Please let me know. Thanks

So, she clicks on the New Mail Message button and the To/CC line is prepopulated
the moment the window comes up?

And those pre-populated entries go away if you minimize the email?

Not really pre-populated because you can add names (it is almost like an
overlay - refresh issue) but it happens all day every day

Phantom names show up but you don't say where they show up. You say
they aren't in the To, Cc, or Bcc fields. So WHERE are these phantom
names showing up?

Is this user using a template when creating new e-mails?

Are these phantom names from the cached list that show up when starting
to enter an e-mail address?
