Change 'Display As' settings for ALL contacts

Hi all,

I'm part of an IT Help desk with a question from a user that I don't know
the answer to for sure. Hoping you can help:

Say she sends out an email to multiple people. When those people 'reply to
all' in the message, they see everyone else's name along with everyone's
email address. She does not want that. She wants the recipients to ONLY see
the people's names, not their email addresses. BCC won't work since she only
wants to hide a certain part.

I know that in the Contact cards there is a Display As setting which
controls this somewhat. She wants to know if there is a way to change it
globally and not manually for each and every contact.

Thanks...hoping to hear back soon!

The short answer is no.

She can't change it, so she'll have to accept it.

See my suggestion to Microsoft called "email address privary" in Outlook
General Questions. If enough people ask for this feature they will have to
give in!

Carlos.
