User Accounts Question

Hello,

I noticed that in Windows XP when you have two or more active accounts on
the same computer a welcome screen appears if Fast User Switching is enabled,
otherwise a Log-In screen appears. At this point a user has to either click
they're account icon or type they're name and/or password to log into they're
account.

Is there a way to force Windows to automatically log into one of the
accounts automatically without having to click an icon or type any log-in
information.

The reason I ask this question is because my wife is accustomed to having
windows automatically log into her account, but after a second account was
added to her computer she now has to click her account icon to log in. She
is not a happy camper :-(

It doesn't take much to irritate your wife. One single click . . .

Run this command via Start/Run, then click her account name
and untick the box that requires her to enter a password.

control userpasswords2

Pegasus,

Thanks for your reply. I'll try your suggestion tomorrow when the wife is
away. Guess you noticed how touchy she is, geez. Hopefully your method will
work and she will finally chill out. Thanks again :)
