Hi folks,
Background:
Working in a small domain where users collect their mail through POP3
independantly using MS Outlook. There was a problem logging in one client
(logon was too slow). I checked the DNS entries and verified that they were
ok. but I still couldn't get it to logon normally. It's an XP Client on a
windows 200 domain. So, I then tried the following: Deleted the user account
from the server and recreating the same user account again exactly. This
solved the slow logon process but It has messed up the emails on that PC.
They have all dissappeared! Everything else seems fine but the email have
gone. I would assume that the emails were stored on the local PC but there
is no sign of them anywhere! Please let me know where, or if, they might be
recovered from (other than a backup). Any help is much obliged.
May thanks, Rob
