Can't hide a user

P

Paul D Smith

I've see the various posts about using regedt32 to hide a user from the
Windows logon screen and it has worked for one user, but not for another.

I have one user that just will not hide - any ideas why? Both users are
'children' and their accounts are on this Windows XP PC solely so that they
can access shared printers so feel free to suggest a better way, without
requiring a real logon, of accessing the shared printers if there is one.

The problem I need to stop is that I've set up the parental controls to stop
them watching YouTube on their own laptops (damn you MineCraft for sapping
homework time!) but they just go and logon to my old Windows XP machine -
doh.

Thanks,
Paul DS.
