Used BootVis now Can't Boot Up.

Simple and to the point.

Every time I use Bootvis to trace the PC freezes when it tries to boot.

Any ideas from anyone? Had this issue on an old install and on a
fairly fresh XP install, so I'm not sure.

Just a quick clarification:

I know it froze cuz I left it for about 2 hours and nothing.

The only way I can resolve the issue is to boot up in safe mode and run
BootVis so that it can complete the trace. Obviously it doesn't find
anything useful since it's in safe mode. After this I can use the
system, but not before....

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what Microsoft says about your problem:
"If you are an end-user seeking to resolve issues for boot/resume
performance on your PC, we recommend that you contact the vendor from whom
you purchased the PC."
