i DON"T mean an internet phone or a pc-to-phone.
i want to use the modem and the regular phone line that my pc is connected
to and to speak into the microphone, hear the other person from the speakers
and be able to answer phone calls with the computer.
is there a third party free app that can do that?
thank you
Eli

Please change your clock and/or time zone - you are posting from the future.

You have committed two heinous crimes here: -

1) You are posting with an incorrectly set clock and/or timezone. You are
in Israel, and your time zone appears to be correct, so I can only conclude
you've deliberately set your clock wrong. This is likely to have you
kill-filed or ignored at the very least.

2) You are multiposting - please, if you must post to multiple groups,
crosspost to no more than three *pertinent* ones.

ok i changed the dtae back.
do you have a comment regarding my orriginal question?

i have not commited any crimes:
1) my clock/date were wrong by mistake and i took care of that.
2) it was a MS-MVP who suggested that i DO crosspost so that he does not
have to read my question again and reply to it a second time. replying to a
cross posting gets the answer to all the sent-to locations and saves time.
BTW - i am not the criminal here. You are! you wasted the server's space and
time and all the readers here expected to find a legitimate reply from you
to my original question, which, obviously, you were unable to provide....
and another thing FYKI i got more replies from intelligent people simply by
multy posting. this means, that i sent the exact post to several NGs
separately (i did not cross post ) and got more interesting replies this way
(not including yours).

There used to be a program called Ring Central that did exactly that.
Try Ringcentral.com. Don't know if they're still in business.
