Use of Web cam with yahoo messenger with Vista

I have recently purchased a lenova laptop with With Windows vista business.
Unable to use web cam (broadcast) with yahoo messenger. whenevr i try to use
invite someone to see my webcam it says cam not present. The camera is
working ok when checked outside messenger. I doubt may there is some
compatability prob using Yahoo messenger with web cam in Vista. can someone
help me sort out the prob?

try uninstalling it in control panel and reinstall it back, it solved my
problem
