Help needed with USB camera

Hi.. using Vista Home Premium

I attached an Intel USB Video Camera (Web camera).
It appears under hardware, 'working', with a driver- (no better drive
available, per 'update driver')..

Yet, I am unable to access it as a web cam, or to record videos, or even
with AIM (instant messenger).

There are no Vista drivers at Intel's site..

Is there a way to get it to work???

Thank you!

If there aren't Vista drivers available, then it's not likely to work
correctly for you - even if you force an install of the drivers using
Compatibility Mode.

I had an Intel CS 431 webcam that wasn't compatible. Had to buy a new camera
(Logitech Quickcam Pro 5000).
